After learning details about how Mateen’s attack was planned, as well as hearing the defense, the jury will now decide Salman’s future.
“The jury has a tough job,” said David Haas, a former federal prosecutor based in Orlando. “They’ve had to absorb a lot and now they’re going to have to decide what parts they believe and what parts they don’t.”
