Every now and then, I receive a call from a potential client who wants a “guarantee” about the outcome of their case. Typically, the potential client says they want a “promise” that their charges will be dropped, they will not go to jail, or they will not be placed on probation.
My response is always the same. No lawyer can “promise” or “guarantee” results. It is unethical for any attorney to say such a thing. My response to the client is simple, even if you do not hire me, do not hire a lawyer who makes you such a promise. Each case is different. Each case has challenges. More importantly, though, each case has opportunities.
Over the past few months, several clients who placed their trust in Haas Law have seen the results of our hard work.
