David Haas volunteers with non-profit Florida Citrus Sports. He served on the Media Relations Committee for the Camping World Bowl and and VRBO Citrus Bowl. He was recognized on the field for his volunteer efforts.

His roles were making sure the media was well cared for and helping at the post-game press conferences.
